Paul Spee (p.spee@business.uq.edu.au) is Associate Professor in Strategy at The University of Queensland. His research focuses on the impact of social and political dynamics involved in strategic decision-making and the coordination of strategic responses. Paul’s research spans a range of industries including health, entrepreneurship, petrochemicals and telecommunications. The impact of his work featured in outlets such as the Australian Financial Review, Financial Times and The Economist. His work appeared in leading scholarly outlets such as Academy of Management Journal, Organization Science, Organization Studies and Strategic Organization, with a monograph published by Oxford University Press as well as contributions to several edited handbooks and volumes. Paul led the executive committee of the Strategizing, Activities & Practices division, an interest group within the prestigious global association, the Academy of Management. He also serves as senior editor for Organization Studies, a journal included in the Financial Times 50 list, and on several editorial boards.
